About the role#
The Walsh Group is looking for Safety Interns to join our projects in Chicago, Illinois, Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, and La Porte, Indiana. This program provides hands-on experience in field management and project safety to help prepare you for future leadership roles. We aim to train interns for potential full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Participate in field safety walks.
- Help the safety manager conduct first day orientations for new employees.
- Complete accident and incident reports.
- Oversee the health and safety of personnel on company jobsites.
- Work with the safety manager to coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors.
- Ensure all company safety policies and procedures are understood and implemented.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree path is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
- Willingness to relocate for specific roles.
