About the role#
The Marketing Communications Intern will support the BOSS Snowplow team in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This role focuses on digital, social, web, and email marketing channels. You will gain hands-on experience in content creation, brand communications, and project coordination while working with an established brand.
What you'll do#
- Support social media content creation, scheduling, and publishing.
- Assist with website, email, and digital marketing communications.
- Create and edit marketing copy and content.
- Support marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and promotions.
- Assist with content calendars, project coordination, and reporting.
- Help maintain BOSS brand standards and digital assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and creative partners.
- Research trends and contribute new ideas to strengthen BOSS marketing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and proofreading.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics.
- Willingness to learn new marketing platforms and processes.
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or content creation is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, website content management systems, or SEO is a plus.
- Skills in photography, videography, graphic design, or video editing are beneficial.

- Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
