About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support payroll operations while gaining experience in related finance and accounting activities. You will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world situations, learning how payroll processes support employees, producers, and the organization. You will be assigned to one manager for daily oversight, with opportunities to work alongside various teams including Accounting, Tax, and Producer Services.
What you'll do#
- Learn payroll operations, terminology, controls, and service standards.
- Assist with payroll data validation, reconciliations, reporting, and analytical reviews.
- Support payroll-related research, issue resolution, documentation, and audit requests.
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, and workflow documentation.
- Apply your knowledge of payroll, compensation, tax, or accounting to assigned projects.
- Collaborate with internal business partners while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student, specifically as a rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- A major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AI tools is preferred.

- This is a fully remote position.
- The role is full-time.
- This position is paid and includes up to three days of paid time off plus paid holidays.
- Necessary equipment, such as a laptop and monitor, is provided.
