About the role#
The New Business Intern will support the New Business team through research, prospecting, and administrative assistance. This part-time, paid internship offers exposure to agency new business development, marketing strategy, and brand positioning. The role requires 20-24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with research and prospecting efforts.
- Develop one-page prospect profiles and prepare pre-kickoff research packets for the Business Development Supervisor.
- Maintain data in HubSpot and update CRM records.
- Assist in the creation of pitch decks, capabilities presentations, and RFP responses.
- Pull relevant case studies, update team bios, and populate proposal templates.
- Conduct competitive landscape research, track industry trends, and analyze category news.
- Participate in internal meetings by scheduling kickoffs, coordinating reviews, preparing agendas, and maintaining action-item lists.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in agency new business development, brand strategy, and the marketing landscape.
- Strong research, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to present data clearly.
- Proficiency or a willingness to learn PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- This position is based in Columbus, Ohio.
- The role is hybrid, with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
