About the role#
The Enterprise Quality Governance & Transformation team ensures the quality of Enterprise Technology Solutions applications and maintains compliance across testing teams. As a summer intern, you will contribute to automation scripts and verify application quality while supporting testing processes and artifacts.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business requirements to create detailed test cases for validating business functions.
- Identify test cases for automation and build a manual regression test suite.
- Execute test cases using our test management tool and report any defects found.
- Automate manual regression test cases using the established framework.
- Write clear and precise defect reports based on your testing results.
- Participate in daily scrum standups to report testing issues and provide input during retrospective meetings.
What you'll need#
- Standing as a rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating in December 2027 or May/August 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Experience with a programming language such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Chat or Claude Code.
- A strong aptitude for quality assurance and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- We operate under a hybrid work program, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office, with Tuesday and Wednesday as anchor days.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
