About the role#
The Opportunity Alliance provides programs and resources to improve health, safety, and stability for people across Maine. As an intern, you will contribute to this mission by supporting individuals and families as they work toward self-sufficiency and stability.
What you'll do#
- Provide advocacy, leadership, and support to help individuals and families identify their goals.
- Assist in addressing the specific needs of individuals, families, and communities.
- Help people stabilize fragile situations.
- Support programs that promote health, safety, and stability.
What you'll need#
- You must be referred by your school to our HR department to be considered.
- An interest in community-based and clinical programs.
- The ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.
- Academic background in Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
