About the role#
The Nichols Accounting Group P.C. is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term in Nampa, Idaho. This is a paid, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real tax projects to gain hands-on experience in public accounting.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns.
- Complete assigned work papers and projects.
- Apply your knowledge of tax law and accounting principles.
- Support internal projects, client work, and firm advancement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a four-year accounting degree.
- Junior or senior standing with at least one completed tax course.
- A path toward 150 credit hours and a CPA license.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Availability for at least 20 hours per week, with full-time availability preferred.
