About the role#
As a Human Resources Intern, you will work at our manufacturing facility in McCalla, Alabama. This full-time summer 2027 role involves working alongside plant leadership and the HR team to manage hiring, onboarding, talent development, and retention. You will gain hands-on experience by taking on real responsibilities and managing professional projects.
What you'll do#
- Partner with plant leadership to attract and engage talent in line with business goals.
- Handle recruiting tasks for hourly and technical roles, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Support local site operations by coordinating community relations and employee appreciation events.
- Improve HR support by identifying and streamlining manual processes.
- Lead or support various projects, ensuring they are finished on time.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet business needs.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing in an undergraduate program.
- Educational background in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and knowledge of standard business practices.
- Professionalism and a genuine interest in a career within Manufacturing HR.
