About the role#
The Innovation Intern works at the center of the product development process at Lagunitas. You will support the Innovation Manager and Sr. Innovation Manager by leading project management tasks and ensuring the on-time delivery of new products. This role offers exposure to teams across Marketing, Sales, and Brewing.
What you'll do#
- Develop and own innovation project timelines throughout the gate process.
- Communicate project milestones and changes to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage the regulatory review and approval process for all new innovations, including trademarks and state approvals.
- Collaborate with the Innovation Brewing team to manage the Inno Lab project calendar.
- Create support materials for innovation commercialization.
- Track project budgets and provide general operational support for the innovation process.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Marketing or Business Administration degree preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Content creation experience is preferred.
- Comfort working at live events.
- Ability to travel to 6 live events in September, typically requiring 1 or 2 nights per trip.
- Passion for music or craft beer culture is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Petaluma, California.
- The role follows a hybrid work policy, requiring attendance at the Petaluma office at least 3 days per week.
- You must be available for the full duration of the internship from October 2026 through March 1, 2027.
- The role may require occasional work during evenings and weekends.
- You may occasionally need to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
