About the role#
The FADER is looking for an Editorial Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. This role focuses on photography, short-form video, and visual storytelling. You will work alongside the video and editorial staff to create assets for web, print, and social media. This position provides insight into how the team conceptualizes, shoots, and edits visual stories.
What you'll do#
- Edit, color-grade, and format photos and videos for web features, cover stories, and social platforms.
- Shoot and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Assist on photo and video shoots.
- Cover live events and concerts on behalf of the company.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Photography, Film/Video Production, Visual Arts, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, or After Effects.
- An eye for framing, color, and visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A curiosity about music and culture across genres.
