About the role#
As the Middle School Student Minister, you will provide leadership and oversight for one of the largest student segments at The Church of Eleven22. You will build a community that helps students discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Jacksonville, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Oversee, run, and teach during Wednesday night and Sunday morning services.
- Contribute to the teaching team on a monthly basis.
- Engage with students weekly through discipleship and relational ministry.
- Implement student next step plans.
- Recruit, disciple, and lead a team of coaches and serve staff.
- Follow up with first-time guests and students who make spiritual decisions.
- Partner with parents to support student discipleship.
- Attend school lunches, sports games, and local events to build relationships.
- Assist with planning and implementing large events, camps, and mission trips.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience working with students is preferred.
- Multisite student ministry experience is highly desired.
- Strong proactive communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Majors in Psychology, Political Science, Communications, Sociology, or Human Resources are relevant to this work.
