About the role#
We are looking for a Web Student to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on various aspects of web content management and support our ongoing projects. This is a full-time, remote role for students currently enrolled in post-secondary studies.
What you'll do#
- Develop and update HTML webpages for the public website, employee portal, and member portal.
- Test web applications and websites across different devices and browsers.
- Help with technical troubleshooting and general web support.
- Research web development best practices to share with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with web content management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, pay attention to detail, and proof your own work.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, user experience principles, and QA testing are considered assets.
- French language skills are an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in Ontario or Québec.
- The term runs from January 2027 to April 2027.
- Pay ranges from $21.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on education level and experience.
