About the role#
The Adamah on Campus LA Intern supports the Youth Empowerment Department by facilitating Jewish environmental programming across Los Angeles campuses. This part-time position runs from September 1, 2026, through December 15, 2026, requiring 5 to 8 hours of work per week. The role is paid a $2,000 stipend.
What you'll do#
- Attend weekly check-ins with your supervisor and participate in relevant Adamah LA Hub meetings.
- Provide guidance and support to students applying for mini-grants to host environmental or Jewish-focused events.
- Lead outreach and promotional efforts for Eco Shabbat in a Box and Tu B’Shvat in a Box.
- Manage logistics for the November 2026 Immersive Day Retreat, including travel coordination, speaker communication, and schedule planning.
- Serve as a facilitator and peer leader during the Immersive Day Retreat.
- Liaise with student leaders to understand their program needs and assist with outreach to grow participation across five LA Adamah Campus Chapters.
What you'll need#
- A strong background in Jewish student or communal engagement.
- Experience in data tracking and analysis, including proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
- Familiarity with environmental language and initiatives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and comfort working in a virtual environment.
- Preferred, but not required, experience as a current Adamah on Campus chapter leader.

- This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, California.
- The role is open to students in majors such as Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, and Communications.
