The Arena Group is seeking an Ad Tech & Programmatic Monetization Intern to join the revenue operations team for the Summer 2026 term. This role sits at the intersection of media, technology, and sales, supporting the monetization of premium brands including TheStreet, Parade, Men’s Journal, and Athlon Sports. This is a full-time, remote, paid internship designed for students interested in learning the fundamentals of programmatic advertising and digital revenue generation.
What you'll do#
- Perform a visual and data-driven health check of top Arena sites across mobile and desktop to identify technical or layout issues.
- Build a refreshable framework and dashboard to maintain system health and track ad performance.
- Draft an impactful go-to-market one-pager outlining data packages for advertisers.
- Use industry-leading intelligence tools to identify advertising opportunities such as Private Marketplaces and Programmatic Guaranteed deals.
- Create promotional materials for seasonal and tentpole editorial events.
- Develop and refresh B2B sales decks and marketing collateral to support the sales pipeline.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze data, organize information, and identify patterns or gaps in spreadsheets.
- Skill in translating technical concepts into clean, persuasive sales collateral using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding data accuracy and ad layout consistency.
- A resourceful and curious mindset with a willingness to learn complex data-driven technology.
