About the role#
As an EHS Intern, you will support projects, processes, and initiatives within the Environmental, Health, and Safety function. This role provides exposure to environmental, health, safety, and regulatory activities while you assist with daily operations and special projects. You will work under clear procedures and receive supervision as you build a foundational understanding of EHS business practices.
What you'll do#
- Support environmental, health, safety, and compliance projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support EHS programs.
- Create and maintain reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Conduct research on environmental, safety, regulatory, or operational topics and summarize your findings.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners on ongoing projects.
- Assist with process documentation, audits, inspections, training activities, and program administration.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field, such as Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.
- Sophomore standing is required, and junior standing is preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel regionally for business purposes.
