About the role#
As a Communications Intern at Textron, you will work on real projects alongside experienced professionals. This internship provides hands-on experience to help you build skills and explore your career interests in the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Define, develop, and execute communications strategies for employees, community members, and civic leaders.
- Plan and create content for internal newsletters, the company intranet, social media, and live events.
- Help coordinate employee and community-engagement activities.
- Produce photo and video content to support various communications campaigns.
- Work with the marketing team on tactical communications to increase brand awareness.
- Take on additional projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid 10-week internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is based on-site in Augusta, Georgia.
