About the role#
This internship supports the communications and marketing team in sharing the Axiom Space story with partners, employees, and the public. You will work on a variety of projects, including digital content, internal communications, and media tracking. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Houston for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Draft content for social media platforms and track engagement metrics to suggest improvements.
- Create supporting materials such as one-pagers, fact sheets, video scripts, and speaker talking points.
- Write and edit internal newsletters, intranet updates, and leadership announcements.
- Monitor news coverage, industry trends, and competitor activity to pitch new content ideas.
- Update copy, images, and links across the company website and social profiles to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the production of digital and video content.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience.
- Strong skills in writing, editing, and proofreading with high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for the space mission.
- Ability to undergo additional export control screening as required by U.S. law.
