About the role#
This unpaid internship provides an educational, project-based experience for a student during the Summer 2026 term. The role focuses on independent research and professional development, allowing the intern to produce a demonstrable work product. This is not an employment position, and it does not involve routine business operations or the displacement of paid staff.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the Four Mile business through provided training materials and observational shadowing of loan officers.
- Research strategic questions regarding new marketing channels and product lines.
- Produce a formal written research report of approximately 8 to 15 pages.
- Create a presentation deck that summarizes findings and recommendations.
- Present the final research and recommendations to the President of the company.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Communications.
- Strong research and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- A foundational understanding of marketing strategies.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: The role is a hybrid of on-site work at the Denver office and remote tasks.
- Duration: Approximately 11 weeks during Summer 2026.
- Schedule: Expected 18 to 20 hours per week, with remote work occurring Monday through Wednesday and in-person work on Thursday and Friday.
