About the role#
This internship focuses on the development, production, and testing of vehicle seat trim and designs. You will work within the Design Studio to assist with ongoing projects, balancing technical development tasks with program management responsibilities. This role requires on-site work in Austin, Texas, for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of seat trim covers.
- Support the internal release process.
- Create and modify CATIA drawings.
- Attend supplier meetings to track tasks and resolve issues.
- Support the program management of active projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant engineering program, such as textile engineering.
- Background in technical concepts, manufacturing processes, and part or assembly design.
- Experience with CAD modeling.
- Ability to solve problems and learn new concepts quickly.
- Proven ability to deliver results on projects with tight deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Spring 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on-site.
- This is a paid internship position.
