About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on Tesla vehicles. You will learn about electric vehicle technology while supporting our team in a customer-facing environment. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service Tesla electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, shop supplies, and parts records.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.

- Compensation: $22.50 per hour plus benefits.
