About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. This role focuses on hands-on tasks and learning about electric vehicle technology. You will interact with customers, so clear communication is important. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to build their technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service Tesla electric vehicles.
- Use various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with the English language.
