About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to gain hands-on experience with electric vehicles. This is a full-time role for the Fall 2026 term. You will support our service team while learning about our technology and maintenance processes.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Operate hand, power, and shop tools.
- Handle equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Track inventory, parts, and shop supplies.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
