About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles at the service center. You will learn about electric vehicles and Tesla technology while contributing to the company mission. This role requires daily communication in English with staff and clients outside of Quebec. You may also be required to support projects across all Canadian provinces.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on electric vehicles.
- Operate various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, time records, shop supplies, and parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to report to the training location or local service center as required.
