About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands on tasks on customer vehicles. You will learn about electric vehicles and our technologies while supporting the service team. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies and parts.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver license.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
