About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at a service center to support the maintenance and repair of electric vehicles. This role involves hands-on tasks and customer interaction. You will gain experience with vehicle technology while working within a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Use various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain records of time, inventory, and shop supplies.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
