About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles. This is a full-time, on-site role for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience with our technology while supporting vehicle maintenance and customer service operations.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections and repairs on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Track inventory, shop supplies, and parts.
- Maintain records of time and parts usage.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Ability to report to the local service center as needed.
