About the role#
Tesla is looking for a Service Program Manager to join the North America Service Operations Team. You will focus on accounts receivable and improving payment processes. The goal is to remove friction from client collections to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. You will work with distributed teams to simplify invoicing, speed up collections, and improve client satisfaction.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and customer service teams to design and implement approaches that simplify payment processes.
- Assess and streamline invoicing, billing, and collection workflows.
- Promote strong communication and alignment across global and distributed teams.
- Establish mechanisms to collect insights from clients, internal teams, and AR stakeholders.
- Analyze client payment behaviors, industry benchmarks, and financial data.
- Define measurable KPIs such as collection rates, DSO targets, and client satisfaction scores.
- Develop and pilot new tools, processes, or technologies.
- Evaluate the impact of pilots, iterate, and roll out successful initiatives organization-wide.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Service Design, or a related field.
- Experience in customer service, customer experience strategy, or service operations.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Prior experience in project management, process improvement, or service program implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience presenting insights, delivering reports, or managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Prior experience in stakeholder management or cross-functional teamwork.
Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Spring 2027.
- Duration: Minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid internship.
