About the role#
This internship supports the Business Analytics and Data Engineering teams. You will work on projects that directly influence business leaders, from retail operations to the executive team. The role focuses on generating value from data to track metrics, improve processes, and guide decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL and Tableau.
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor business performance.
- Assist with data modeling, forecasting, and reporting projects.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes through data insights.
- Communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support team goals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data sets and present clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A bias for action and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Fremont, California.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site (40 hours per week).
- Term: Winter 2027 through Spring 2027 (minimum 12 weeks).
- Compensation: $32.45 - $45.43 per hour plus benefits.
- This role is for students currently enrolled in an academic program.
