About the role#
The Design Studio Architectural team is looking for an intern to join our group in Austin. You will work alongside Studio Architects and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on local and international projects. This role offers hands-on experience in architectural design within the electric vehicle industry. This is a full-time, on-site position starting in January 2027 and continuing through the Spring 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Generate design concepts.
- Research materials, finishes, and building systems.
- Develop architectural and interior details.
- Conduct site visits and prepare observation reports.
- Create renderings, diagrams, and presentations.
- Work with the team to move projects from initial concept to completion.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Architecture, Interior Design, or related degree program.
- Proficiency in Revit, which is required, and experience with Rhino.
- Experience with the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Rendering skills using Enscape or TwinMotion.
- A genuine interest in our mission and the electric vehicle industry.
- A portfolio or personal website must be submitted with your application.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our headquarters in Austin, Texas.
- The internship requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks.
