About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks on Tesla vehicles. This full-time role involves direct customer interaction and provides an opportunity to learn about electric vehicle technology. You will work as part of a team to ensure our service operations run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service Tesla electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Perform equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies and parts.
- Clean customer vehicles.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including web browser navigation and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Ability to report to the training location or local service center as needed.

- Compensation: $23.75 per hour.
