About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work directly on customer vehicles at our service center. This role focuses on hands-on tasks and learning about electric vehicle technology. You will join a team-based environment where communication is key, as you will interact with customers and support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain accurate records of time, inventory, shop supplies, and parts.
- Keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first attitude.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Ability to report to the local service center or training location.
