About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to inspect and repair electric vehicles. You will gain hands-on experience with our technology while supporting the daily operations of our service team. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Use a range of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles.
- Track inventory, parts, and shop supplies.
- Help keep customer vehicles clean.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office programs.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Current enrollment in an automotive program is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English.
