About the role#
As a Collision Technician Trainee Intern, you will join the team responsible for repairing electric vehicles. You will learn about Tesla technology and gain hands-on experience in collision repair. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level repair work on electric vehicles under guidance.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Handle collision repair tasks including disassembly, reassembly, paint prep, detailing, and mechanical operations.
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle repairs.
- Manage inventory, track time, and organize shop supplies and parts.
- Support both front and back of house operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of collision repair methods and techniques.
- Current enrollment in a Collision or Automotive program is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- A valid driver's license is preferred, along with the ability to report to the local collision repair center.
