About the role#
The Intern Engineer Undergraduate role supports engineering projects and processes at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies. This position offers exposure to company practices and policies while allowing for the development of independent thinking skills. You will work on assignments that require applying engineering concepts to solve problems of intermediate complexity.
What you'll do#
- Support ongoing engineering projects and processes.
- Analyze data and produce reports or summaries.
- Communicate with coworkers, customers, and vendors to discuss project details or material properties.
- Assist in developing solutions to routine and non-routine problems.
- Perform accurate data entry into company databases and files.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or a related physical or life science discipline.
- Expanded knowledge of engineering or scientific processes.
- Ability to analyze problems, contribute to decisions, and assist in the design and implementation of solutions.
- Proficiency with relevant PC software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Compensation: Paid position at $33.00 per hour.
