About the role#
Tencent Cloud is looking for a Business Development Intern to join our team in Los Angeles. This full-time role is designed for students who want to build a career in the Public Cloud industry. You will work alongside experienced sales professionals to learn our products, understand our target markets, and practice professional sales techniques.
What you'll do#
- Research markets and gather insights on targeted industries.
- Identify and reach out to new customers through various channels.
- Collect information on customer IT systems and cloud usage to help the sales team find new opportunities.
- Manage the customer database and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to support outbound campaigns.
- Draft sales pitches and help the team qualify new prospects.
What you'll need#
- You are a final-year undergraduate or a graduate student.
- You intend to pursue a career in sales within the Public Cloud industry.
- You can commit to a full-time schedule for at least 12 months.
- You are bright, adaptable, and entrepreneurial.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $24.81 to $42.70 per hour.
- Benefits: This position includes paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), 13 paid holidays, and eligibility for the company-sponsored medical plan.
