About the role#
The Inclusion and Engagement Co-op supports the implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. You will report to the Lead of Inclusive and Respectful Workplace and assist in advancing the company strategy through events, research, and communication projects.
What you'll do#
- Act as a safety leader by following and sponsoring all safety and environmental procedures.
- Manage the content calendar and maintain the EDI SharePoint site.
- Collaborate with employee-led EDI Committees and Inclusion Networks.
- Coordinate engagement activities, including training sessions, recognition programs, and events for days of significance.
- Develop research and reports to guide strategy and improve engagement.
- Create materials for the EDI Committee and Inclusion Network support model.
- Build relationships with diverse stakeholders across the business.
- Develop an employee-facing SharePoint intranet site to centralize EDI resources.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Arts, Sciences, or Business Administration.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex ideas to multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with project management, event coordination, and visual communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- A motivated self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high levels of professionalism.
- A dedication to fostering respectful and inclusive workplaces.
