About the role#
Team Kline is hiring an Intern for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Des Moines, Iowa. Interns work under the supervision of a Foreman to support construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with trade-specific system installations.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Support the team by organizing materials and tools.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and working in confined spaces.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an internship or school-to-work program with one of our local partners.
- A strong willingness to learn and work within a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- OSHA10 certificate is preferred.
- Students under 18 require parent or guardian sign-off on specific work documents and a jobsite tour.
