About the role#
This Quality Engineering Internship is based within our Aerospace, Defense, and Marine business unit. You will work on-site in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, during the summer of 2027. This position involves analyzing product and production systems to ensure they meet customer and contractual requirements. You will help manage reliability programs and support the implementation of technical testing standards.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
- Review and approve First Article reports.
- Work with cross-functional teams to disposition nonconforming products found at incoming, in-process, or returned from customers.
- Approve necessary product deviations.
- Use formal problem-solving techniques to resolve product and process issues.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- We also consider students with equivalent work experience or those taking a gap year.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- An intellectually curious mindset and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Prior internship experience or completion of a major project is preferred.
- You must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee due to ITAR and export control regulations.
