About the role#
As a Risk Management Intern, you will support business and risk partners in delivering effective governance, compliance, and control activities. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real business initiatives, gaining exposure to areas such as operational risk, financial crime risk management, and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do#
- Support risk, compliance, governance, and control activities.
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on emerging risks and industry trends.
- Assist with the development of presentations, dashboards, and management reporting.
- Review and analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business lines and corporate functions.
- Contribute to data analysis, documentation, and process mapping initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current or prior TD internship experience is required.
- Must be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree and returning to school after the work term.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Demonstrated interest in risk management, compliance, business, finance, data analytics, or related disciplines is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
