    About the role#

    We are looking for a Student Intern to join our Measurement Services team. You will support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis, reporting, and laboratory coordination. This role offers hands-on experience with operational data, performance dashboards, and asset management processes. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the safe and reliable operation of our energy infrastructure.

    What you'll do#

    • Support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis and reporting.
    • Maintain operational dashboards and performance reporting tools.
    • Assist with analyzer and chromatograph inventory management.
    • Coordinate laboratory sample tracking and administrative tasks.
    • Analyze meter station data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and asset optimization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on measurement and operational initiatives.
    • Contribute to data collection, validation, and reporting processes.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited Chemistry or Data Analysis degree program.
    • Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
    • Intent to return to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
    • Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 2027 to August 2027.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft tools for data analysis and visualization.
    • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard maintenance.
    • Familiarity with asset management processes and operational or laboratory data.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to building stakeholder relationships.
    • Ability to analyze information, manage ambiguity, and multitask effectively.
    • A safety-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous personal development.

    • Location: Charleston, West Virginia.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: This position is paid.
