About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship program for Summer 2027. You will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role through a hands-on training experience. You will work alongside mentors and store leadership to learn how to manage departments, drive guest experience, and support store operations. This program is designed to develop your leadership skills and provide an understanding of retail business fundamentals.
What you'll do#
- Lead daily priorities, including stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment.
- Work alongside a mentor to lead departments and guide team members.
- Provide performance feedback to team members and address concerns to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage with guests to solve their needs and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Lead and present at daily team huddles.
- Review business reports and guest insights to identify opportunities and set daily goals.
- Participate in training activities and seek out opportunities for professional development.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Effective communication skills and a welcoming attitude.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Psychology, or Sociology.
