About the role#
The Summer Associate role at Tapestry offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail environment. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them discover their personal style and integrate brand products into their wardrobes.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating deep product knowledge.
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks for customers.
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and effective storytelling.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
What you'll need#
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and a willingness to learn omni and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail days.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Human Resources.
