About the role#
TapBlaze is a mobile game studio based in Los Angeles. We are looking for a Social Media & Community Marketing intern to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will work on real projects from your first day. We are looking for someone to help grow our social presence, deepen player engagement, and build an active community around our games. High-performing interns will be considered for a full-time marketing position at the end of the term.
What you'll do#
- Create video and static social media assets tailored to specific platforms.
- Write marketing copy and captions that drive engagement, clicks, and installs.
- Schedule posts across all social channels using tools like Sprout Social or Loomly.
- Plan and run creative community events for players.
- Monitor our communities to identify trends, gather feedback, and share ideas with the team.
- Manage our social presence end-to-end by the end of your 10-week term, including setting creative strategy and producing native content.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Photoshop for clean edits and asset creation.
- Beginner knowledge of Premiere Pro or After Effects.
- A solid grasp of short-form video content.
- Ability to write copy that feels human, fun, and on-brand.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines across multiple platforms.
- A genuine interest in our games, Good Pizza, Great Pizza and Good Coffee, Great Coffee.
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Los Angeles, California.
- You must be available to work 5 days a week on-site at our Sawtelle office.
- The term lasts 10 weeks, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance.
