About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in our Chicago office. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support the design of technical building systems. This role includes participation in our intern education program, which features lunch-and-learn sessions covering various aspects of our business.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers in the preparation of design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings of mechanical systems.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building mechanical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend scheduled intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of studies.
- A specific interest in plumbing engineering.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
