About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an ICT Summer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Los Angeles, California. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support the design of electrical systems for projects.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams with design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings for electrical systems.
- Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building electrical systems.
- Participate in field investigations and construction site visits to observe work.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of study.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite and design or calculation software.
- Familiarity with MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
