About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring Electrical Engineering Summer Interns for our New York, NY office. This is a paid, full-time internship for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site and participate in an education program that includes lunch-and-learn sessions on various business topics.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with design documentation.
- Create electrical system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Help with design calculations and sizing for building electrical systems.
- Support field investigations and construction site visits.
- Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least two years of study.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $26 to $28 per hour.
