About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer Summer Intern for our San Francisco office. This role is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site and participate in our intern education program, which includes lunch-and-learn sessions to help you gain hands-on experience and visit project sites.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
- Create AutoCAD and Revit drawings of electrical systems.
- Help with design calculations and the sizing of building electrical systems.
- Join engineers for field investigations and construction site visits to observe project progress.
- Attend scheduled intern education program sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering at an accredited university.
- Completion of at least your second year of study.
- Basic knowledge of design and calculation software and the MS Office Suite.
- Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
