About the role#
Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer Summer Intern for our Dallas office. This position is a full-time, paid opportunity for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site with our engineering teams to support design projects and participate in our intern education program.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with design documentation and calculations.
- Prepare electrical system drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Size building electrical systems.
- Conduct field investigations and visit construction sites to observe project progress.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions as part of the intern education program.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- You have completed at least your second year of study.
- You have basic knowledge of MS Office Suite and design or calculation software.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest versions of MEP AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.

- Compensation: $23 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and location.
