About the role#
Syensqo is hiring a Production Engineering Co-op for our West Deptford, New Jersey polymer manufacturing facility. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the production department to support daily operations and process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Support production activities at our polymer manufacturing site.
- Assist plant staff in troubleshooting process problems.
- Generate or update standard operating procedures to reflect best practices.
- Investigate trends in quality and production parameters.
- Develop Statistical Process Control tools to improve quality control.
- Perform data gathering and analysis to support process optimization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Basic understanding of material balances, chemistry, and thermodynamics.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong data gathering and analysis skills.
