We are looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our engineering team to work on our travel, fintech, and superapp membership platforms. You will contribute to services that handle thousands of requests per second and process significant daily sales volume. You will be fully integrated into the team from your first week, contributing to production-ready code and working alongside full-time developers on core projects.
What you'll do#
- Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code starting in your first week.
- Work across the full stack on multiple services and codebases, utilizing React with TypeScript on the frontend and Python with FastAPI on the backend.
- Use a data-driven approach to perform experiments for features you launch.
- Propel business growth by directly impacting company metrics and the user experience.
What you'll need#
- At least 8 months of web development work experience, preferably in a startup or scaleup environment.
- Proficiency with a modern frontend JS framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience working with web servers and taking ownership of features from start to finish.
- A logical approach to decoding and solving intricate technical problems.
- An interest in working with React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science program.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8th – December 18th, 2026).
- Modality: Remote within Canada, with a requirement to maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time.
- Compensation: CA$34.50 – CA$40.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes a $300 home office setup allowance, $25/week UberEats allowance, $300 learning and development allowance, and $120 fitness/wellness allowance per term.
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
